During the installation of the Kiosk Controller you will be asked for the EID of the proxy. Franchiser CredentialsYou are asked for complete path of the franchiser credentials . (Authentication of the Franchiser is done by UW using this key. We give the Reigon Name and the Organization Name and get a *.tar or a zip file which is extracted. We give the path for the folder in the above entry.) Proxy CredentialsA new folder “proxycredentials” is generated in the home directory and it also has a zip file (proxy2.reigon2_credentials.tgz) we need to unzip and also take a back up of that file because during the installation of the other components we will need it. Connectivity and TestingThis completes the installation and the HDD is ready to be put into the Soekris box and tested. Connect the Soekris box to a ethernet port which has that public IP and to a power supply also to a serial display for verification. Any of the ethernet port eth0-eth9 may come up.The first boot takes some time due to initialization process. Later on the bootup process is quite fast Logging In and Date & TimeOnce the entire boot up has completed then login as “root” and password as “KioskNet”.
